In an important step toward strengthening the aquaculture industry in both Chile and Norway, Chilean company ITG announced the signing of a significant commercial agreement with Norwegian company Fluctus. Through this agreement, Fluctus will commercialize ITG products in the Norwegian market, while enabling ITG to commercialize Fluctus products in Chile.
Fluctus is widely recognized in Norway for its extensive experience in aquaculture feeding systems, having worked for decades in the development, production, installation, and servicing of products such as pontoons, air- and water-based feeding systems, control software, dispersers, and silage systems. Its partnership with ITG marks a key milestone in the global expansion of both companies.
Claudio Chanceaulme, General Manager of ITG Chile, expressed his enthusiasm about the agreement, highlighting the value it brings to the Chilean market:
“This agreement allows us to expand our portfolio of products and solutions focused on sustainable production, consolidating ITG as a comprehensive provider in the local industry and a versatile and reliable commercial partner.”
Harald Lien, Managing Director of Fluctus, also shared his confidence in ITG’s ability to represent Fluctus products in Chile:
“We are confident that ITG will be an excellent partner for us. They bring the local expertise and proximity needed to deliver the best solutions to customers.”
The collaboration between ITG and Fluctus will be reflected in key aquaculture industry events, with Fluctus participating at the ITG booth during AquaSur in March, and ITG joining Fluctus at HavExpo in May. These platforms will provide ideal opportunities for both companies to showcase their complete product portfolios and establish strong international commercial relationships.
